# The Private Security Industry Act 2001 (Designated Activities) (Amendment) Order 2006, Introduction: Introductory text


This Statutory Instrument has been made in consequence of a defect in SI 2006/426 and is being issued free of charge to all known recipients of that Statutory Instrument
SECURITY INDUSTRY, ENGLAND AND WALES
Made 17th March 2006
Laid before Parliament 17th March 2006
Coming into force 20th March 2006
The Secretary of State makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 3(3) and 24(5) of the Private Security Industry Act 2001.
In accordance with section 24(4) of that Act he has consulted with the Security Industry Authority.
