  "text": "In these Regulations—\n(a) “1990 Act” means the Courts and Legal Services Act 1990;\n(b) “approved body” means a professional or other body which is approved by the Secretary of State under Schedule 9 to the 1990 Act;\n(c) “scheme” means a complaints scheme which is referred to in section 55(2)(d) of the 1990 Act;\n(d) “member” means a provider of probate services who is a member of an approved body and who has been granted exemption from section 23(1) of the Solicitors Act 1974 under section 55(1) of the 1990 Act;\n(e) “service user” means a person contracting with the member for the provision of probate services.",
