  "text": "(This note is not part of the Rules)\nThese Rules revoke rule 26 of the Probation Rules 1984 which provides that a person cannot be a probation officer unless he or she has been awarded a Certificate of Qualification in Social Work by the Central Council for Education and Training in Social Work or a qualification approved by the Council as being equivalent to the Certificate.",
