# The Probation Board (Northern Ireland) Order 1982, Article 12: Loans for purchase of motor cars or motor cycles

The Board may make loans to such members of its staff and subject to such conditions as the Department of Justice may approve to facilitate them in the purchase of motor cars or motor cycles essential to the efficient carrying out of their official duties.
