# Probation Service Act 1993 (repealed), Section 5: Functions in relation to children and young persons.

A probation committee may provide facilities for enabling—
(a) directions given by a supervisor by virtue of paragraph 2(1)of Schedule 6 to the Powers of Criminal Courts (Sentencing) Act 2000,
(b) requirements included in a supervision order by virtue of paragraph 3(2) of that Schedule, and
(c) directions under paragraph 2 or 3 of Schedule 3 to the Children Act 1989,
to be carried out effectively.
