# The Procurement (Wales) Regulations 2024, Regulation 44: Central government authorities

Extent: E+W

(1) All the entities listed in column (1) or (2) of the Table in Schedule 2 to these Regulations are specified for the purposes of the definition of “central government authority” in paragraph 5(1) of Schedule 1 to the 2023 Act.
(2) Where an entity listed in Schedule 2 to these Regulations is succeeded by another entity, which is itself a contracting authority, the successor entity is deemed to be included in the Schedule.
