# The Proscribed Organisations Appeal Commission (Procedure) Rules 2007, Introduction: Introductory text


prEvention and suppression of terrorism
Made 23rd April 2007
Coming into force in accordance with rule 1
The Lord Chancellor makes the following Rules in exercise of the powers conferred by paragraph 5 of Schedule 3 to the Terrorism Act 2000 and having had regard to the considerations specified in paragraph 5(2) of that Schedule.
In accordance with paragraph 5(5) of that Schedule, a draft of these Rules has been laid before Parliament and approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament.
