# The Proscribed Organisations (Applications for Deproscription) Regulations 2001, Regulation 9: Refusal to deproscribe


Where the Secretary of State refuses an application he shall immediately in writing inform the applicant of his refusal and notify the applicant of the procedures for appealing against the refusal to the Proscribed Organisations Appeals Commission.
