# The Proscribed Organisations (Name Change) Order 2016, Article 2: Name change


Jabhat Fatah al-Sham, being a name that is not specified in Schedule 2 to the Terrorism Act 2000, is to be treated as another name for the organisation listed in that Schedule as Al-Qa’ida.
