# The Proscribed Organisations (Name Changes) (No. 2) Order 2014, Introduction: Introductory text

Laid before Parliament 19th August 2014
Coming into force 20th August 2014
The Secretary of State makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 3(6) of the Terrorism Act 2000.
In accordance with section 3(6)(a) of that Act, the Secretary of State believes that the organisation referred to in article 2 of this Order, being an organisation in Schedule 2 to that Act, is operating wholly or partly under a name that is not specified in that Schedule (whether as well as or instead of under the specified names).
