  "text": "(1) Neither the WAO nor any of its members is to be regarded—\n(a) as the servant or agent of the Crown, or\n(b) as enjoying any status, immunity or privilege of the Crown.\n(2) But members of the WAO are to be taken to be Crown servants for the purposes of the Official Secrets Act 1989.\n(3) The WAO's property is not to be regarded as property of, or held on behalf of, the Crown.\n(4) This paragraph does not apply to the Auditor General (and for provisions about the status of the Auditor General, see section 6).",
