# The Public Bodies' Land (Appropriate Ministers) Order 1981, Article 2


For the purposes of Part X of the Local Government, Planning and Land Act 1980, the expression “the appropriate Minister” in relation to the bodies set out in column 1 in the following Table shall have the meaning given in column 2 of that Table as respects those bodies—

British Shipbuilders
The Secretary of State for Industry
The British Steel Corporation
The Secretary of State for Industry
The Housing Corporation
The Secretary of State for the Environment
The Independent Broadcasting Authority
The Secretary of State for the Home Department
The National Coal Board
The Secretary of State for Energy
