# The Public Charitable Collections (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 1988, Note: Explanatory note


(This note is not part of the Regulations)
These Regulations provide for the exemption of banks from the requirement to record the contents of individual collecting boxes when opening and counting their contents on behalf of the organisers of public charitable collections.
