# The Public Service Vehicles Accessibility (Amendment) Regulations 2005, Introduction: Introductory text


DISABLED PERSONS
Made 27th October 2005
Laid before Parliament 2nd November 2005
Coming into force 12th December 2005
The Secretary of State for Transport makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 40 and 41 of the Disability Discrimination Act 1995.
In accordance with section 40(7) of that Act he has consulted the Disabled Persons Transport Advisory Committee and such representative organisations as he thinks fit.
