  "text": "(This note is not part of the Regulation)\nThese Regulations amend the Public Service Vehicles (Operators' Licences) Regulations 1986, which consolidated with modifications the Public Service Vehicles (Operators' Licences) Regulations 1981.\nThe fee for the grant of a licence (other than a special licence) is increased from £3.50 to £4.50 for each month, or part of the month, during which the licence is expressed to be in force.\nThe fee for the second and every subsequent disc issued to the holder of a licence is increased from £3.50 to £4.50 for each month, or part of the month, during which the disc may be used.\nThese fees have not been increased since 1981.",
