  "text": "(This note is not part of the Regulations)\nThese Regulations increase the fees which are payable under the Public Service Vehicles (Operators' Licences) (Fees) Regulations 1995.\nThe changes are as follows:\nOLD FEE\nNEW FEE\nApplication for a standard licence\n£158\n£179\nApplication for a restricted licence\n£105\n£119\nGrant of a standard or restricted licence:\nfor a period of 5 years paid in advance\nfor a period of 5 years paid annually\n£105\n£21\n£119\n£24\nContinuation in force of an existing standard or restricted licence:\nfor a period of 5 years paid in advance\nfor a period of 5 years paid annually\n£105\n£21\n£119\n£24\nApplication to vary a condition on a licence so as to increase the maximum number of vehicles\n£79\n£90\nApplication for a special licence\n£42\n£47\nContinuation in force of an existing special licence\n£42\n£47\nIssue of a disc under section 18 of the Act (payable for each month or part month)\nfor a period of 5 years paid in advance\nfor a period of 5 years paid annually\n£4.50\n£5.25\n£5.10\n£5.90\nIssue of a new disc in place of one lost or destroyed\n£11\n£12.50\nThe Regulations also contain transitional provisions in respect of fees for the grant of a standard or a restricted operators' licence.\nA full regulatory impact assessment of the effect that this instrument will have on the costs of business is available from the Licensing, Roadworthiness and Insurance Division of the Department for Transport, Zone 5/20, Southside, 105 Victoria Street, London SW1P 4DR.",
