# The Public Telecommunication System Designation (T-Systems Limited) Order 2002, Introduction: Introductory text


TELECOMMUNICATIONS
Made 11th June 2002
Laid before Parliament 13th June 2002
Coming into force 12th July 2002
Whereas the Secretary of State has granted to T-Systems Limited on 08 April 2002 a licence (“the Licence”) under section 7 of the Telecommunications Act 1984 (“the Act”), to which section 8 of the Act applies, for the running of the telecommunication systems specified in the Licence (“the Applicable Systems”):
Now, therefore, the Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on her by section 9 of the Act, hereby makes the following Order:
