# The Public Telecommunication System Designation (Tweedwind Limited) Order 2002, Introduction: Introductory text


TELECOMMUNICATIONS
Made 22nd July 2002
Laid before Parliament 24th July 2002
Coming into force 22nd August 2002
Whereas the Secretary of State has granted to Tweedwind Limited on 31 May 2002 a licence (“the Licence”) under section 7 of the Telecommunications Act 1984 (“the Act”), to which section 8 of the Act applies, for the running of the telecommunication systems specified in the Licence (“the Applicable Systems”).
Now, therefore, the Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on her by section 9 of the Act, hereby makes the following Order:
