# The Pupils' Registration (Amendment) Regulations 1988, Introduction: Introductory text

Made 7th July 1988
Laid before Parliament 19th July 1988
Coming into force 31st October 1988
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 80 of the Education Act 1944 and vested in the Secretary of State, the Secretary of State for Education and Science, as respects England, and the Secretary of State for Wales, as respects Wales, hereby make the following Regulations:
