  "text": "(This note is not part of the Regulations)\nThe Pupils' Registration Regulations 1956 (as amended) make provision for an Admission Register and (in most cases) for an Attendance Register to be maintained by the proprietor of every school.\nThese Regulations amend those 1956 Regulations so that the Admission Register will be required to include particulars, in respect of each pupil, of the name and address of every person known to the proprietor to be a parent of the pupil and, against the entry containing particulars of a parent who has the actual custody of the pupil, an indication of that fact and a note of a telephone number at which the parent can be contacted in the event of an emergency.",
