# The Pur Fleet (King’s Lynn) Order 1999, Article 11: Operation of sluices


Notwithstanding anything in any enactment or in any rule of law, the Council may operate the sluices, culverts or moveable sections or gates comprised in the barrage to control the level of water impounded in the creek, in such manner and for such periods as they think necessary or desirable.
