# The Quality Meat Scotland Order 2008, Paragraph 8: Maximum rate of slaughterer or exporter levy

The maximum rate of slaughterer or exporter levy is in accordance with the following table–

Maximum rate of levy per head
(a)for these purposes a calf is an animal under six months old (in the case of an exported animal) or an animal with a dressed slaughter weight of less than 68kg.
