# The Quarries (Explosives) Regulations 1988, Regulation 14: Modification of the Mines and Quarries Act 1954


Sections 102(2) and 103(2) of the 1954 Act (which provide respectively for the temporary appointment of quarry managers and supervision by quarry managers) shall each have effect as if the reference to the purposes of that Act and regulations included a reference to the purposes of these Regulations.
