# The Quarries Regulations 1999, Regulation 43: Health surveillance

Extent: E+W+S

An employer of a person at work at a quarry shall ensure, where health surveillance under regulation 6 of the 1999 Regulations is required in respect of any work to which that person is to be assigned, that the health surveillance commences before that person begins to carry out such work.
