Section 29 Short title, citation, commencement and extent.

(1)

This Act may be cited as the Race Relations Act 1968.

(2)

The Race Relations Act 1965 and this Act may be cited together as the Race Relations Acts 1965 and 1968.

(3)

This Act shall come into operation at the expiration of one month from the date of its passing.

(4)

This Act, except so much thereof as amends the 1957 c. 20.House of Commons Disqualification Act 1957, does not extend to Northern Ireland.
