The day appointed for the coming into effect of the Code of Practice in Rented Housing for the elimination of racial discrimination and the promotion of equal opportunities (ISBN 1-85442-034-8), issued by the Commission for Racial Equality under section 47(7) of the Race Relations Act 1976 is 1st May 1991.
