# The Radioactive Substances (Hospitals) Exemption Order 1990, Introduction: Introductory text


ATOMIC ENERGY AND RADIOACTIVE SUBSTANCES
Made 10th December 1990
Laid before Parliament 11th December 1990
Coming into force 1st January 1991
The Secretary of State for the Environment as respects England, the Secretary of State for Wales as respects Wales and the Secretary of State for Scotland as respects Scotland, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 2(6) and (7), 6(5) and 7(4) of the Radioactive Substances Act 1960 and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following Order:
