# The Radioactive Substances (Testing Instruments)(England and Wales) Exemption Order 2006, Article 6: Section 13 of the Act and radioactive waste from a Class 1 source


(1) A person is excluded from authorisation under subsections (1) and (2) of section 13 of the Act (disposal of radioactive waste) in respect of radioactive waste from a Class 1 source.
(2) A person who is excluded from authorisation must comply with the limitations and conditions set out in Schedule 3.
