# The Rail Vehicle Accessibility (South Eastern Trains Class 376) Exemption Order 2004, Article 3: Authorisation and exemptions


(1) Subject to articles 4 to 6, the exempted vehicles are authorised to be used for carriage even though they do not conform with those provisions of the Rail Vehicle Accessibility Regulations referred to in paragraph (2).
(2) Those provisions are—
(a) regulation 16(1)(b); and
(b) regulation 16(1)(d),
in so far as they apply to an overhead handrail.
