# Railways Act 2005, Paragraph 2


Bye-laws may provide that a person contravening them is guilty of an offence and liable, on summary conviction, to a fine not exceeding—
(a) level 3 on the standard scale; or
(b) such lower amount as is specified in the bye-laws.
