This Order designates services on Croydon Tramlink as qualifying London services for the purposes of Schedule 5 to the Railways Act 1993, which contains provisions relating to the discontinuance of passenger services. Qualifying London services are services in respect of which the Mayor is to exercise certain powers instead of the Secretary of State.
