# The Railways Regulations 1992, Regulation 1: Citation, commencement and extent


(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Railways Regulations 1992 and shall come into force on 1st January 1993.
(2) With the exception of paragraphs 6 to 8 of Schedule 2, these Regulations do not extend to Northern Ireland.
