Article 1 Citation, commencement, interpretation and extent

This order may be cited as the Rampton Hospital Authority (Abolition) Order 2001 and shall come into force on 1st April 2001.

(2)

In this Order—

  • “the Act” means the National Health Service Act 1977;

  • “the Authority” means the Rampton Hospital Authority established by the Authorities for the Ashworth, Broadmoor and Rampton Hospitals (Establishment and Constitution) Order 1996f1;

  • “the Trust” means the Nottinghamshire Healthcare National Health Service Trustf2;

This Order extends to England and Walesf3.
