# Rates (Northern Ireland) Order 1977, Article 10: Departures from valuation list in levying rates

Extent: N.I.

(1) The Department, in levying a rate, may make such departures not affecting value from the particulars contained in a valuation list as may be necessary to enable the rate to be effectively levied in accordance with the provisions of this Order.
(2) Any departure under paragraph (1) shall be forthwith reported to the district valuer.
