  "text": "Before placing a product on the market a manufacturer must—\n(a) have a relevant conformity assessment procedure carried out; and\n(b) draw up—\n(i) the technical documentation referred to in Schedule 9; and\n(ii) any other technical documentation required as part of the relevant conformity assessment procedure to demonstrate the means used by the manufacturer to ensure that the product complies with the essential requirements.",
