# The Redundancy Payments (Local Government) (Modification) (Amendment) Order 1989, Article 1: Citation, commencement and interpretation


(1) This Order may be cited as the Redundancy Payments (Local Government) (Modification) (Amendment) Order 1989 and shall come into force on 1st April 1989.
(2) In this Order the “principal Order” means the Redundancy Payments (Local Government) (Modification) Order 1983.
