# The Redundant Mineworkers (Payments Scheme) Order 1972, Article 1: Citation, commencement and interpretation


(1) This Order, which may be cited as the Redundant Mineworkers (Payments Scheme) Order 1972, shall come into operation fourteen days after it has been approved by resolution of each House of Parliament.
(2) The Interpretation Act 1889 shall apply to the interpretation of this Order as it applies to the interpretation of an Act of Parliament.
