# The Redundant Mineworkers (Payments Scheme) Order 1972, Paragraph 10: Rounding-off of benefits


Where the total weekly sum payable to a coal industry employee under this Scheme exceeds five new pence or a multiple thereof by a fraction of five new pence that fraction shall be disregarded if it is less than two and a half new pence and shall be treated as five new pence if it is two and a half new pence or more.
