# The Registered Designs (Amendment) Rules 1990, Introduction: Introductory text

Made 18th July 1990
Laid before Parliament 23rd July 1990
Coming into force 13th August 1990
The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 32(1) of the Registered Designs Act 1949and after consultation with the Council on Tribunals pursuant to section 10(1) of the Tribunals and Inquiries Act 1971, hereby makes the following Rules:—
