# The Registered Health Care Profession (Designation) Order 2003, Note: Explanatory note


(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order enables, from 1st November 2003, paramedics registered under Part 8 of the register maintained under the Health Professions Order 2001 by the Health Professions Council to take samples under section 62 of the Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984.
