In note 8—

(a)

after “replaced Income Support” add “Where both partners qualify for the jobseeker’s allowance from 19th March 2001 they should make a “joint claim” for jobseeker’s allowance.”;

(b)

after “Part 4”, in the second place where it occurs, insert “where a couple are receiving a joint-claim jobseeker’s allowance, both members of the couple may complete the authorisation at the end of Part 4.”.
