At the end of note 53, add:

  • “You should answer “No” to this question where you are on maternity leave, entitled to statutory maternity pay under section 164 of the Social Security Contributions and Benefits Act 1992 or maternity allowance under section 35 of that Act, and the childcare payments are only paid for the child to whom the maternity leave relates.”.
