# The Renewable Heat Incentive Scheme Regulations 2018, Regulation 4: Eligible installations

Extent: E+W+S

(1) A plant meets the criteria for being an eligible installation (the “eligibility criteria”) if—
(a) regulation 5, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 or 15 applies; and
(b) the plant satisfies the requirements set out in—
(i) regulation 16(1);
(ii) regulation 17; ...
(iii) regulation 17A; and
(iv) Chapter 3.
(2) But this regulation is subject to regulations 19 , 20 and 55A(5).
