# Rent Act 1974, Part II: Repeals Taking Effect on Day Appointed under Subsection (1) of Sections 11 and 12

In section 16, in subsections (3), (5) and (7) the words “being a qualified person within the meaning of subsection (8) of this section”, and subsections (8), (9) and (10).

The Housing Finance Act 1972.
In sectin 19, in subsections (4) and (6) the words “being a qualified person within the meaning of subsection (12) below”, in subsection (8A) paragraph (b) and the word “and” immediately preceding it and subsections (12) to (14).
In section 23, in subsection (1) the words from “or to the descriptions” to the end of the subsection.
In section 24, in subsection (10) the words from “or to a person” to “would be a private tenant” and in subsection (11) the words from “or for a person” to “would be a private tenant of a dwelling”.
