  "text": "(1) In this Order, unless the context otherwise requires—\n“determination” means a determination (including an interim and a further determination) in accordance with Schedule 1 to this Order;\n“dwelling” has the same meaning as in the Social Security Act 1986( );\n“excluded tenancy” means a tenancy of a category listed in Schedule 2 to this Order;\n“local authority” has the same meaning as it has in the Social Security Act 1986 in relation to Scotland;\n“occupier” means a person (whether or not identified by name) who is stated, in the application for a determination, to occupy the dwelling;\n“rent” has the same meaning as in section 25 of the Housing (Scotland) Act 1988, except that the reference to the house in subsection (3) shall be construed as a reference to the dwelling;\n“size criteria” means the standards relating to bedrooms and rooms suitable for living in specified in Schedule 3 to this Order;\n“tenancy” includes any other right of occupancy and references to a tenant, a landlord or any other expression appropriate to a tenancy shall be construed accordingly.\n(2) In this Order any reference to a notice or application is to a notice or application in writing, and any notice by a rent officer may be sent by post.",
