# Renters’ Rights Act 2025, Paragraph 15: Housing Act 1985

In section 554 (grant of tenancy to former owner-occupier), in subsection (3)—
(a) omit paragraph (c) (and the “or” at the end of that paragraph);
(b) after paragraph (b), insert—
“(ca) an assured tenancy, or”.
