# Renters’ Rights Act 2025, Section 10: Repayment of rent paid for days after end of tenancy

In the 1988 Act, after section 14ZB (inserted by section 7 of this Act) insert—
“Repayment of rent paid for days after end of tenancy
14ZC (1) A person who paid rent as a tenant under an assured tenancy is entitled to be repaid any part of that rent that relates to days falling after the end of the tenancy.
(2) Subsection (1) does not affect any other entitlement to payment arising at the end of an assured tenancy.”
