  "text": "And be it Enacted by the Authoritie aforesaid that every voluntary surrender or resignation made by any Incumbent to the Patron of any Benefice, or to any late pretended powers since the said First day of January of any Ecclesiasticall Benefice or Promotion shall be adjudged as an effectuall avoidance of such Benefice or Promotion as if the same had beene made to the competent Ordinary and accepted by him.",
