# The Restrictive Practices Court Rules 1976, Article 4


(1) Where the Director intends to apply for an order under section 2(2) of the Act against an association or any person acting on behalf of an association, he shall serve on the association a copy of the notice of reference and the association, though not itself a party to any relevant agreement, shall be made a respondent to the notice.
(2) The Director may, if he thinks fit, serve a copy of the notice of reference on any association whose members or any of them are parties to any relevant agreement and the association, though not itself a party to any such agreement, shall in that event be made a respondent to the notice.
