Article 44

The Director, and any respondent who has entered an appearance, may apply to the Court at any time for an order that a point of law arising on the notice of reference, or on any statement of case, answer or reply, be determined before the final hearing of the proceedings and the Court may, if it thinks fit, dispose of the point of law on the hearing of the application or at any later stage in the proceedings.
